How does the ActivForce 2 work?

The ActivForce 2 measures isometric muscle contraction through an integrated force sensor. During a so-called “make test” or “break test”, force is applied against the dynamometer. The sensor records the peak force output and transmits it via Bluetooth to the connected app.

Within the app, different muscle groups can be tested, results can be stored and progress can be compared across multiple sessions. This makes the device highly suitable for post-injury rehabilitation, return-to-sport testing and strength monitoring of left-right asymmetries.
